Reminders

Just a quick note to remember that the speed limit is 25mph.  Maintaining the posted speed limit within our community is essential for the safety and well-being of all residents, especially children, pedestrians, and pets.  We ask all residents and guests to remain mindful and respectful by always observing speed limits.

Please remember to store trash cans out of sight from the street after pickup.

To ensure the safety of our community and the well-being of our pets, please keep the following local ordinances in mind under Chapter 47: Pets and Animal Abuse of the municipal code: 

     * Leash Law: All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet and  under the direct control of a competent person when off the owner's property. 

     * Scoop the Poop: Please clean up after your pet immediately. Pet waste must be disposed of properly. 

     * If you observe a dangerous animal, a stray, or a recurring violation of roaming pets, please report it to Animal Control (856) 718-0305

In Gloucester Township, NJ, cars generally cannot be parked on public streets for more than 48 consecutive hours before being considered "abandoned" under local ordinance NJ 39:4-56.5. Concerns are: 

     * Safety: Streets lined with vehicles on both sides significantly reduce visibility and passable road width, making it difficult for emergency vehicles, school buses, and residents to navigate safely. 

     * Aesthetics: Our neighborhood's appearance and property values are directly impacted when residential streets are used as vehicle storage lots. 

     * Compliance: Gloucester Township ordinances do not permit the use of public residential streets for the storage of motor vehicle dealer inventory. Township code requires that dealer inventory be stored on licensed premises, and vehicles left on public streets for 15 or more consecutive days may be classified as abandoned and subject to immediate towing at the owner's expense.
